Mar 05, 2018 09:38AM ● By Emily Stevenson
NAI Avant announced the sale of ±4.04 acres of land at the intersection of Clemson Road and Longreen Parkway in Northeast Columbia.

Represented by broker Peyton Bryant, Bee Safe Clemson Road, LLC purchased the property from RDS Associates, LLC for $1,100,000. RDS was represented by brokers Ben Kelly, CCIM and Patrick Chambers.

Bee Safe plans to build an approximately 100,000-square-foot storage facility on the property with 773 units, their second store in the Midlands area. With multiple locations across the Carolinas, Bee Safe storage facilities include highly secured, climate controlled storage units ranging in size from 5 x 5 feet to 10 x 30 feet with covered unloading zones and video surveillance. They also offer a below-ground storage area with beverage lockers for wine storage that are humidity and temperature controlled.

The ±4.04-acre property contains ±2.70 acres of usable land. The site is located on the Northwest corner of Clemson Road and Longreen Parkway, approximately one mile from the intersection of I-77 and Exit 22. Clemson Road serves as the major thoroughfare connecting I-77 and I-20 through the Northeast Columbia sub-market. The corridor has been one of the fastest growing in the Columbia Metro region in recent years.
