The City of Columbia will be among 20 finalists that will conduct presentations as a part of the All-America City designation process. The All-America City Awards is the flagship program of the National Civic League. Its spotlight this year is “Promoting Equity through Inclusive Civic Engagement.”
The finalists will compete June 22-24 in Denver, Colo. to be recognized among the 10 annual All-America City winners. Each finalist represents the diversity of American communities from the largest cities to the smallest towns, from east to west and north to south.
Both City Council members and City officials are showing their support for the City of Columbia in its attempt to become an All-America City.
