Growing Southeast, Inc. will host its 9th Annual Oyster Roast on November 8, 2018 from 6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. at The Oaks, 901 Brookwood Drive, Columbia, S.C.

Admission for the event is $35.00 per person. Admission includes oysters, low country boil, chili, beer, wine, and dancing. The Oyster Roast also includes a silent auction featuring NCAA sports memorabilia, local artwork, and other gift items.

Proceeds from the Oyster Roast will support the direct services of Growing Home Southeast.

“Growing Home Southeast has a longstanding history of filling service gaps for youth and families in our communities. Our annual Oyster Roast will allow us to continue to do whatever it takes to ensure the needs of our children and families don’t go unfulfilled,” says the organization’s CEO and president, Brennon B. Graham.

For more than 30 years, Growing Home Southeast has provided an array of social services to children and families in South Carolina and Southern Alabama. These services are intended to strengthen lives, promote healthy families and communities, and insure every child has a safe and permanent place to live. Services include treatment foster care, adoptions, recruitment, mental health/behavioral health services, strengthening families program, and a supportive housing apartment complex for transition-aged youth.

Growing Home Southeast is accredited by the Council on Accreditation, and is a member of the United Way of the Midlands, Palmetto Association for Children and Families, the Midlands Area Consortium for the Homeless, Together SC, and the Columbia Chamber of Commerce.
