HUB International’s regional offices are working hard to contribute to disaster relief in the Carolinas and surrounding areas, thanks to HUB International’s HUB GIVES program. The sixth largest insurance, benefits and risk services broker in the world, HUB International’s core values include serving and helping the communities where its employees live and work. Through its program, HUB GIVES, HUB International is matching employee donations up to $50,000 toward disaster relief in the wake of Hurricane Florence and Hurricane Michael, as the firm has done with past catastrophic events.

HUB International is matching every dollar that its employees donate to the American Red Cross to aid victims of Hurricane Florence, up to $25,000. Additionally, HUB International is matching every dollar that its employees donate to the Disaster Relief by CARE Fund at USLI to aid victims of Hurricane Michael, up to $25,000.

“Hurricane Florence and Hurricane Michael have taken their toll on our region’s citizens, their homes, and their businesses,” said Tommy Suggs, president and CEO of HUB Carolinas, headquartered in Columbia, S.C. “We love our region and are pleased to offer our financial support to help those families directly impacted.”

HUB Carolinas is composed of North and South Carolina, with offices located in Bluffton, Charleston, Columbia, Greenville, Hilton Head Island, and Myrtle Beach in South Carolina, as well as Burlington, Charlotte, Greensboro, and Raleigh in North Carolina.

At the heart of the HUB Carolinas team is Suggs, who prior to merging KeenanSuggs with HUB International had worked with his team of advisors to build KeenanSuggs into the largest independent insurance brokerage in the Southeast.

Now partnered with one of the most impactful companies in the world, HUB International, Suggs and his team continue to serve some of the Carolinas’ largest corporations with insurance, risk services, and employee benefits and HR services.
