7-Eleven, Inc. invites Lexington residents to its grand opening event between 2-6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 6 for its new store at 2374 Augusta HWY. The 7-Eleven location is the market’s first since 2014 and will be operated by Applegreen USA. Following this store opening will be three additional stores in Lexington in 2019, as well as additional stores throughout the Columbia market.

Special store promotions include:

· Product promotions and special giveaways from partners including Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Monster, Miller/Coors, and Redbull.

· Free food samples and drinks – including a free slice of pizza and free Big Bite Hot Dog.

· Raffle tickets! The grand prize winner will be chosen at 5 p.m.

At 7-Eleven, convenience may be its focus, but serving is its business. And that business extends beyond its stores into the communities where its customers, employees, and franchisees live, work, and play. To celebrate the new store in Lexington, the company will:

· Host Lexington High School’s marching band and cheerleaders, who will perform between 2-7 p.m.

· Hold a community Ribbon Cutting at 3:30 p.m., with special guests Mayor Steve MacDougall; Otis Rawl, Lexington Chamber of Commerce; and Darrell Hudson, Lexington County Council.

· Present a Project A-Game donation to Lexington High School to support the community’s youth programs.
