#ColumbiaAgenda: Columbia Compass Wants You, Nikki Haley's New Job?, Jim Hodges Returns, 50 Most Influential: Kelly Barbrey, Girl Scout Cookie Drug Bust

Columbia Compass seeks community feedback for city's comprehensive plan: The City of Columbia has released a brief interactive survey designed to gather feedback on the recommendations of Columbia Compass, a 10-year update to the city’s comprehensive plan. The survey is mostly multiple choice and takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.

In fall of 2018, the city’s first survey garnered 1,200 responses, which helped drive the Columbia Compass recommendations. Columbia Compass will guide City Council members as they move toward Envision 2036, when Columbia celebrates its 250th anniversary.

Topics include population, natural resources, land use, transportation, housing, cultural resources, economic development, and more. The city is hoping for wide participation and feedback as they build a blueprint for the future of the city. The survey is available at www.surveymonkey.com/r/5C8TWHK
