Class of 2019 Project: Hurricane Relief

Mar 08, 2019 12:41PM ● By Kathleen Maris
Hurricanes leave a path of destruction in their wake that remains long after the wail of emergency sirens and the pale light of media cameras fade. Leadership South Carolina's Class of 2019 recognized that hurricane victims need long-term help, so this year they are lending a helping hand to the Saint Bernard Project, a charity dedicated to leading recovery efforts across the country.

Leadership South Carolina's Class of 2019 is determined to help, and has pledged to dedicate volunteer hours and raise $25,000 for an effort to rebuild homes in Columbia. LSC classmates will flex their volunteer muscles during the week of March 25-29 to help repair homes damaged in the 2018 hurricane season. Meanwhile, their effort to raise $25,000 will provide a home for a family displaced by hurricanes.

The Class of 2019 needs your help to reach their goal of $25,000!
