Leadership Columbia Class Of 2019 Announces Class Project

The Leadership Columbia Class of 2019 is completing this year’s project – beautification of the Babcock Center’s Shop Road location, as well as marketing and branding efforts for the organization as a whole – for an unveiling event from 3-5 p.m. on Tues., April 30 at the Shop Road facility.

The unveiling doubles as a chance to see firsthand the work completed by the Leadership Columbia Class of 2019 over the past several months, as well as an opportunity to connect potential employers with the Babcock Center participants. Speakers from Babcock Center and the Columbia Chamber will be on hand to recognize the donors who made this project possible, go over the details of the project, and highlight how these contributions will help the Babcock Center moving forward.

Tours of the facility will be provided by Babcock Center participants and guests are invited to mingle and enjoy entertainment by the Mark Rapp Group and refreshments provided by Michael’s Café and Catering. Items crafted by Babcock Center participants in the woodworking shop will be on display and attendees will be invited to help make their own mark on the beautification project with an interactive painting opportunity.
