Boyer Construction Selected For 5 Year, $500M VA Contract

Boyer Commercial Construction, Inc. announced that it was awarded a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for construction services supporting the Veteran Affairs. Task orders awarded under this MATOC consist of a broad range of construction, maintenance, alterations, and repairs affecting real property at eight major VA Medical Centers (VAMC) and various related off-site facilities within the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 7.

“This contract supports our vision and commitment to bring the quality of project delivery Boyer Construction provides it’s private clients to the public sector,” said Justin Schaeffer, Boyer’s director of federal contracts. “As members of the veteran community that use the VA Healthcare system, we are honored to be selected for this MATOC.”

The awarded contract services one of the fastest growing regions across the nation. VISN 7 covers 244 counties in Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina and provides oversight for eight major medical facilities located in Atlanta, Augusta, Dublin, Birmingham, Central Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Charleston, and Columbia. Two are dual campus facilities; three facilities are complexity level 1A, two are 1C, one is level 2, and one is level 3. The VISN also serves 57 Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) located throughout the region.
