Colonial Life promotes Donna Longo to AVP

Donna Longo has been named the new assistant vice president of Product and Market Development for Colonial Life. In this new role, she is responsible for the disability product line, product market development efforts, and competitive intelligence.

Longo, who joined Colonial Life in 2017, most recently served as a director of Marketing. In that role, she focused on developing customer engagement strategies that improved customer experience and loyalty. She also played an integral role in driving digital adoption through awareness campaigns of new solutions. 

Prior to joining Colonial Life, Longo held the role of Customer Marketing director for Demco, Inc. a company that serves the education and library industry. There she directed the development and execution of the global marketing strategy. She also led programs on expanding customer engagement and customer insight efforts. 

Longo holds a bachelor’s degree in visual communications from Buffalo State College and a master’s in business administration from Syracuse University. She leads Colonial Life’s Women Professional Network Employee Resource Group, serves on the board at the Riverbanks Society and is a City Year Champion volunteer.
