James R. Pagett, Jr., President of Palmstar Real Estate Investments, was elected to serve on the South Carolina Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s (SCHCC) Board of Directors, for 2017/2018, on January 31, 2017.
Founded in 2007, the SCHCC promotes the economic growth of Hispanic-owned businesses, in South Carolina, by providing educational & networking opportunities to its members to enhance their business skills and contacts; by bringing more awareness to the positive impact Hispanic-owned businesses have on the South Carolina economy; by strategically connecting its membership with the banking community to improve access to capital; and by meeting with local, state & federal elected officials to discuss policy issues that affect Hispanic-owned businesses in South Carolina.

Pagett, a 1992 graduate of the University of South Carolina, earned an MBA in 2009 from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He served as Carolinas State Director for the International Council of Shopping Centers from 2007-2009.
