Specializing in in-town properties and coastal resort homes, Bunni Crawford has been an award-winning Realtor® since 1994. In the community, Crawford volunteers as a Guardian ad Litem for Richland County, is a sustained member of the Junior League of Columbia, serves on the boards of the USC Archeology Department and Columbia Classical Ballet, and recently joined a network of community ambassadors for Palmetto Health hospitals.

“I believe everyone should give back to the community in any amount they can,” says Crawford. “My favorite local charity is Carolina Wildlife Care [where Crawford serves as vice president], a non-profit that treats injured animals and releases them back [into nature]. Executive Director Joanna Weitzel amazes me — she works 90 hours a week and sometimes has possums and raccoons living with her. I wish I had as much passion as she does.”

Although it hasn’t always been easy, Crawford says she has learned how to balance the demands of work and personal life. “I am really inspired by my family [which includes two sons in college, three dogs and a bunny]. My husband, Lindsay, is my biggest advocate. He taught me that work can come second, and when I get a little complacent, he revs me back up. I wasn’t too good at that before we got together — I was the mom who never showed up to soccer games because I had to work. It’s pretty ironic, but my better years financially came after I made the decision to put my family first.”
