First Annual Cornbread Festival – Planning Kick-off

February 07, 2012

The North Columbia Business Association (NCBA) is planning the first annual Columbia Cornbread Festival to be held Nov. 3. We are having a Cornbread Kickoff event to share more information about the Cornbread Festival and to get support from the area communities. The goal of the Cornbread Festival is to bring the North Columbia area together to reintroduce itself to the rest of the Midlands as a vibrant, growing, and inviting place to work and live.

The Cornbread Kickoff will be a fun event where we will have chili, cornbread, and lemonade as well as fun activities. Individuals and organizations will have the opportunity to see what the Cornbread Festival can do for them and sign up for things they can do for the Cornbread Festival.

You are invited to attend and participate in the Cornbread Kickoff being held at 6 PM on Wednesday, February 15, in the Print Building (3907 Ensor Avenue – near the building with the Clock Tower). All you need to bring with you is a fun attitude, and if you know anyone who would like to come, bring them too.

Please feel free to forward this invitation to community leaders, businesses, organizations, and neighborhood associations. We are trying to get the word out and just in case we missed someone, we would appreciate your help. We want the whole North Columbia community to be involved.
