Wynton Marsalis is an internationally acclaimed trumpeter, musician, composer and bandleader, an educator. He won the Pulitzer prize for music for his album Blood in the Fields. Marsalis has also won the National Medal of Arts and nine Grammys®. He cofounded the jazz program at Lincoln Center and is the Director of Julliard Jazz. Throughout his career, he has performed with great legends such as Dizzy Gillespie, Herbie Hancock, and more.
