The City of Columbia will host two public open houses to share what the project team has learned from citizen input and research during the first phase of Columbia Compass, the ten-year update to the City of Columbia’s comprehensive plan. Recommendations on how to implement the vision defined during the first phase of the planning process will also be shared, and your feedback is requested. This 12- to 18-month effort will result in a plan that the City’s citizens and policy makers can use as a blueprint to help navigate our future. Your continued input is vital on the policies, programs, and infrastructure investments we have identified as necessary to make your ten-year vision for Columbia a reality.
