Columbia Open Studios Preview Party is a ticketed event Thursday, April 4, 2019, 7-9 p.m., hosted by 701 Center for Contemporary Art, to kick off the weekend-long Open Studios tours. Guests can mingle with participating artists and preview their work at the Columbia Open Studios Hallway Exhibition in 701 Whaley’s Community Gallery. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar are available for attendees. Explore 701 CCA’s gallery throughout the night, featuring the South Arts 2019 Southern Prize Exhibition with work from the nine esteemed State Fellowship winners.

The Columbia Open Studios Preview Party kicks off the arts-filled weekend. Guests can mingle amongst 2019 participating artists over an evening of art and conversation. Presented by 701 Center for Contemporary Art (701 CCA), Columbia Open Studios is the free, self-guided tour of nearly 70 local artists’ studios spanning the City of Columbia and Richland and Lexington counties.
