Insurance Association Elects Board Members

The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors - SC Chapter (NAIFA-SC) announces its 2018-2019 newly elected board members. The board members were voted on and presented at this year’s Annual State Meeting.

Joseph P. Riley, III, of Charleston, NAIFA-SC 2017-2018 president, introduced the 2018-2019 president, Evelyn Butler, at the 2018 Annual Awards Dinner.

NAIFA-SC's new board members are as follows:

President – Evelyn Butler, LUTCF, CLTC, LACP, of Greenville

Past President - Joseph P. Riley, III, of Charleston

President Elect – David Grookett, CLU, ChFC, of Columbia

Secretary /Treasurer - Johnny Craven, LUTCF, of Walterboro

VP of Membership – David Lloyd, of Spartanburg

National Committeeman - Brad Tapscott, CFP, ChFC, CRPC, of Charleston

Regional Vice President - Casey Chambers, FICF, CLF, of Greenville

Regional Vice President - Ericka Kizer Woods, of Walterboro

“I am so honored to be elected President of such an elite group of industry leaders," said Butler. "Our 130-year-old association has a lot of exciting changes ahead and on behalf of our Board of Directors, we are excited to see what all is in store for this incredible group!”

In addition to her position as president of NAIFA-SC, Butler is an advisor with New York Life in Greenville. Butler has been a member of NAIFA for 22 years and recently received her LACP certification. This certification, received by only 300 people nationwide, recognizes those that are leaders in the insurance and financial industries.
