Linde Hydraulics Corporation, a global manufacturer of hydraulic and electronic drive systems, announced plans to locate new production operations in York County. The company’s $13.4 million investment is projected to create more than 60 new jobs.

As a technology leader in the field of medium and high pressure hydraulics, Linde Hydraulics sets standards with its systems for significant reductions in fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions. The company’s product portfolio includes hydraulic pumps, motors, and valves, as well as electronic controls and peripherals. Linde Hydraulics is also a development partner and supplier to well-known manufacturers of mobile machinery, serving the agricultural, construction, mining, and forestry markets.

Located at 1679 Overview Drive in Rock Hill, S.C., the company’s 67,200-square-foot facility is projected to come online before the end of this year.

“On behalf of our shareholders and Linde employees, we extend our thanks to the state of South Carolina and York County for assisting us in establishing this expansion in North America,” said John Kumler, president. “Their welcoming attitude and assistance in securing the location and incentives were invaluable. We look forward to working with the local community and growing our business together.”
