TD Bank Names Mike Farmer Regional Vice President

TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank®, has named Mike Farmer as regional vice president for the Midlands market. He will be responsible for managing a team of commercial bankers to expand TD’s market share by extending the bank's legendary service to both its customers and the community.

Farmer brings 30 years of experience in the financial industry. He began his career with First Union Bank of South Carolina, which later merged with Wachovia/Wells Fargo. He held various roles within the organization, including legacy companies, for several lines of business. Farmer’s background includes experience in the areas of Commercial Banking, Credit, Corporate and Specialty Banking and Middle Market Banking. 

“Mike brings a wealth of experience and extensive knowledge of the Midlands, as well as the state, to this role,” said David Lominack, Market President for TD Bank. “His diverse banking background and community involvement will be an asset to the team as we continue to grow our presence and engagement in the market.”

Farmer is heavily involved in the community and serves on several boards, including the Cooperative Ministry, where he serves as Chairman. He has also served as Treasurer of Harvest Hope Food Bank. In addition, he has also volunteered with Special Olympics, the United Way and Habitat for Humanity.

Farmer earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing from the University of South Carolina Moore School of Business in Columbia, S.C. He and his wife, Carol Ann, reside in Chapin, S.C., with their daughter, Molly Morgan “MoMo”.
