S.C. 25 Fastest Growing: Special Awards

South Carolina Business Awards, home of the official S.C. 25 Fastest Growing Companies program, announced that Milliken & Company is the recipient of the 2020 South Carolina Economic Impact Award.

The prestigious award, sponsored by BMW Manufacturing Co., recognizes companies in the Palmetto State that have achieved extraordinary results. The award honors companies from across the state in a variety of industries, each offering outstanding contributions to South Carolina’s economy.

At the SC 25 Fastest Growing Companies® awards ceremony, held Oct. 27, four companies were rewarded with South Carolina Excellence in Business awards.

The companies that received the recognition are:

Philanthropy: Defender Services

Client Retention: New South Construction Supply

Employee Retention: McMillan Pazdan Smith


The Rising Star Award recognizes a company that is establishing itself in the Palmetto State and is a company to watch for its future activities. This year’s Rising Star is Palmetto Technology Group.
