Industrial Project Innovation (IPI), the Greenville-based project and construction management firm, was honored as South Carolina’s Fastest Growing Company at a luncheon in Columbia on Monday, Oct. 24, 2022.

IPI topped the list of the SC 50 Fastest Growing Companies in the annual ranking of the Palmetto State's 50 most dynamic and successful companies. The SC 50 Fastest Growing Companies competition is presented by The Capital Corporation and sponsored by PNC Bank, Quality Business Solutions(QBS) and Integrated Media Publishing, which publishes Greenville Business Magazine, Columbia Business Monthly, and Charleston Business Magazine. 

The keynote speaker at the luncheon, held at Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center, was Alexis Garcin, president and CEO of Michelin North America Inc. Lt. Gov. Pamela Evette also spoke at the event.

Rounding out the top three companies were FLEXSPACE, headquartered in Charleston, which provides industrial warehouse and cold storage space, at No. 2; and Luxor Scientific, the Greenville-based medical testing and research laboratory, at No. 3. 

Michelin North America Inc. was honored with the Economic Impact Award, presented by BMW Manufacturing Co. to honor a South Carolina-based company whose performance has produced extraordinary results. 

South Carolina Excellence in Business awards were also presented to four companies based in the Palmetto State. The Employee Retention Award was presented to Spartanburg Meat Processing Inc.

JEAR Logistics won the Growth in Revenues Award, while the Customer/Client Retention Award went to  to Langston Construction Co. of Piedmont, LLC, and the Community Involvement Award was presented to SC Steel LLC.

To be eligible for the SC 50 Fastest Growing Companies Award, the company must be headquartered in South Carolina and be in business for at least three years and show revenues of more than $3 million in the last fiscal year. The companies are selected using a calculation based on year-over-year growth of revenue and employee headcount over the last three years.
