The Effingham County Chamber of Commerce will present its biennial “Effingham County Community Leadership Retreat” on Monday, October 2, and Tuesday, October 3, at the King and Prince Beach and Golf Resort, 201 Arnold Road in St. Simons Island, Ga.

The theme for this year's retreat is “Moving Effingham Forward.”

Attendees should bring with them the plans and vision that their organization is working on for the future.

At the end of the retreat we plan to present to the business community of Effingham a vision of Effingham County for the next 10 years R

egistration is $280 per person payable to “Effingham County Chamber of Commerce” and must be received no later than September 15.

This fee includes most of the meals during the event.

Monday morning breakfast is not included.

Spouses are welcome to register and participate. A meals-only option is also available at $200 per person.

The Chamber has arranged for a discounted room block at the King and Prince ($289/night plus tax).
