How do you define leadership?

I strive to lead with a team-first mindset — I wouldn’t be where I am without the incredible people who support me every day. I believe leadership isn’t one-size-fits-all; it’s about truly understanding your team and empowering each person to shine in their own unique way. When everyone is supported and valued, it strengthens the entire practice and sets us up for long-term success.

What makes you an effective leader? What are you still working on?

I tend to be a “let’s get it done yesterday” kind of person — I prefer to address challenges head-on rather than let them grow into bigger issues. I’m naturally detail-oriented and like to stay closely involved, but I’ve learned the importance of trusting my team and allowing others to step in and support when needed.

Is there a mentor who has meant a lot to you in your career?

I try to keep my faith at the center of my life, starting each morning and ending each day with prayer to guide my thoughts, actions, and decisions. It gives me clarity, perspective, and purpose. I truly feel that foundation shapes how I lead, care for others, and show up each day.

What is your greatest fear, and how do you manage fear?

My greatest fear is disappointing others — I’m naturally a people pleaser and tend to want to make everyone happy, sometimes to a fault. I’ve been working on embracing the “let them” mindset, reminding myself that it’s impossible to please everyone. Leaning into my faith also helps me manage that fear — I pray often for guidance, peace, and the confidence to stay grounded in what truly matters.

What’s the best advice you have received in business that you wish to pass on to our readers?

he best advice I’ve ever received wasn’t strictly about business. My grandaddy always told me, “Remember the golden rule — do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” I carry that with me every day in my practice, striving to lead with kindness and compassion. At the end of the day, I’d much rather be remembered for how I treated people than have my life measured only by success.

What would you say is your greatest professional accomplishment to date?

Purchasing my practice and building our new state of the art office from the ground up!

What one thing have you learned that has served you well over the years?

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that it truly takes a village. I’ve been incredibly blessed with an amazing support system that extends far beyond Conway — my husband, family, friends, team, and those behind the scenes who lift me up, support me, and keep me grounded every day. I wouldn’t be where I am without them.

If there is one thing you could go back and do differently what would it be?

If there is one thing you could go back and do differently, what would it be? I try not to dwell on the past and instead focus on moving forward — each day is a gift and worth living fully. Along the way, I’ve learned that every challenge or disappointment is an opportunity to grow. The biggest lesson has been to stay humble, embrace those moments, and use them as motivation to learn, improve, and do better the next time.
