Lizard’s Thicket has raised $3,600 through sales of its limited edition 40th anniversary coffee mugs. Local non-profits BigbrBrothers Big Sisters of Greater Columbia, Sharing God's Love and Palmetto Place Children's Shelter will each receive donations of $1,200 from the restaurant.
Thebrlimited-edition mugs were sold for $5 each, beginning Weds., Sept. 27, in honor of the family-owned and operated business’s 40th anniversary and in celebration of Lizard's Thicket’s brand new Columbian coffee blend, which is also locally roasted in the Carolinas. Lizard’s Thicket selected these non-profits because they work to strengthen families and support children in the Midlands.
