Nicholas Uveges has been promoted to deputy chief of Lexington County Fire & Life Safety with the Lexington County Fire Service.
Deputy Chief Uveges will oversee fire inspections, fire permitting, investigations, scheduling, and conducting fire and life safety presentations, smoke alarm installations, and public relations events within the County.
Lexington County Fire Service officials are thankful for Uveges' continued, dedicated service to the citizens of Lexington County.
