Riggs Partners will hold its 27th annual CreateAthon event to benefit non profit organizations on October 23-24, 2025. CreateAthon is a 24-hour creative marathon during which Riggs Partners provides marketing services to non profit organizations on a pro bono basis.

Riggs Partners encourages non profit organizations in the Midlands and Upstate of South Carolina to submit a CreateAthon application by August 8. As part of the application, non profits can submit a video sharing how they believe CreateAthon can best serve their organization. Application details are available at www.riggspartners.com, and selected non profits will be notified in September 2025.

“This year’s CreateAthon season is especially profound,” said Teresa Coles, President of Riggs Partners. “Many non profit organizations are facing a high level of uncertainty with respect to funding, which directly impacts their ability to deliver services that address essential social needs. It’s our hope that our work through CreateAthon can serve as a beacon of hope for non profits during this time by helping to shape communications frameworks that can foster sustainability and boost their impact.”

CreateAthon began as Riggs Partners’ local community service program in 1998 and is now a national 501(c)(3) organization that has recruited more than 100 marketing and communications agencies, universities, professional organizations, and corporate marketing teams as CreateAthon partners. This partner network has cumulatively served 2,000+ non profit organizations in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, United Kingdom and Romania; produced 3,800+ pro bono marketing projects; and delivered pro bono marketing and communications work valued at more than $30 million. Riggs Partners has served more than 200 South Carolina non profits since the program’s inception.
