The Capital City/Lake Murray Country Regional Tourism Board has announced the addition of Annie Clark to its team as the new Special Events Manager.
Clark brings a wealth of experience in event planning, communications, and marketing. Most recently, she served as Event Manager at Columbia College, where she was responsible for coordinating institutional events, managing campus scheduling, overseeing external rentals, and supporting both departmental and student programming.
“We are thrilled to welcome Annie to our growing team,” said Miriam Atria, President/CEO of the Capital City/Lake Murray Country Regional Tourism Board. “Her professionalism, creativity, and extensive background in event management will play a key role in advancing our mission and enhancing the events that showcase the best of our region.”
Clark holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina. In addition to her event management expertise, she brings strong skills in customer service and strategic communications—assets that align perfectly with the organization’s focus on promoting tourism and creating memorable experiences for visitors.
