David Lockwood

David Lockwood, who is executive vice president and COO for Colliers in South Carolina, has been with the company for 39 years. He oversees the operations and brokerage platform for the company’s four South Carolina offices. A graduate of Clemson University, Lockwood is deeply involved in organizations related to real estate as well as civic and charitable causes. He has worked with the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS (SIOR), the world’s leading society for industrial and office brokers, for the past 30 years, and in 2024 was the organization’s global president. He also spent nine years on the South Carolina Real Estate Commission. Lockwood is previous president of the Central Carolina REALTORS Association and the South Carolina REALTORS Association. He served on the Clemson Board of Visitors, where he chaired the Student Engagement Committee, and was chair of the Clemson University Student Advisory Board. In addition, Lockwood has been chairman of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, City Center Partnership, and Sandhills School board of directors. He received 2025 Distinguished Service Awards from Clemson University and the South Carolina REALTORS Association. Asked about South Carolina’s greatest asset, Lockwood responded, “The culture of its people from the mountains to the coast.”
