Eggs Up Grill, the South Carolina-based daytime restaurant franchise, continued to attract experienced multi-unit franchise operators in the third quarter of 2026, signing 11 new restaurant commitments across four franchise groups while extending its positive same-restaurant sales growth streak to 23 consecutive quarters.
The quarter reflects an important evolution in Eggs Up Grill's franchise growth strategy as the brand increasingly attracts multi-unit, multi-brand operators looking to diversify their portfolios. Three new franchise groups joined the system during the quarter, all of which brought prior experience on the restaurant ownership and franchisor side. In addition, an existing Eggs Up Grill franchise partner also doubled its development commitment just 90 days after opening its first restaurant in a new state, providing another strong example of experienced operators choosing to reinvest and scale with the brand.
The 11 commitments will expand Eggs Up Grill across both new and existing markets, including the brand's first entry into Kansas. Together, the agreements further strengthen a development pipeline that has grown to more than 200 restaurants open and in development nationwide. Eggs Up Grill also opened three restaurants during the quarter in Bonaire, Georgia; Spears Creek, South Carolina; and Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, further advancing its development pipeline alongside new franchise commitments.
"When experienced operators diversify their portfolios with Eggs Up Grill, and existing franchise partners continue to grow with the brand, it validates the trust they have in our model and our ability to scale," said Ricky Richardson, CEO of Eggs Up Grill. "We're increasingly attracting sophisticated multi-unit, multi-brand operators who recognize the opportunity within the daytime category. Eggs Up Grill has tremendous momentum heading into the final quarter of the year, and our focus remains on finding the right partners who can grow with us for the long term."
The growth builds on a defining strength of the Eggs Up Grill system, with more than 60 percent of franchise owners operating or developing multiple restaurants. Combined with growing interest from experienced multi-brand operators and 23 consecutive quarters of positive same-restaurant sales growth, this positions Eggs Up Grill as an attractive, scalable diversification opportunity in the breakfast, brunch and lunch category.
Eggs Up Grill was named one of the 50 Fastest Growing Companies in South Carolina in 2026.
