Jimmy Wilhide Named K-12 Market Leader in LS3P's Columbia Office

LS3P announced Jimmy Wilhide, AIA, REFP, LEED BD+C, has been named K-12 market leader within the firm. In this role, Wilhide will lead efforts to advance LS3P’s K–12 education practice in and around the Columbia region through strong client relationships, strategic growth, and the development of local talent. Wilhide will contribute to project development, share their expertise with teams, and support innovation in their market area.

An associate principal of the firm and a seasoned project leader, Jimmy Wilhide brings more than 35 years of experience across multiple building types and states, with a focus the last 24 years on K-12 facility design in North and South Carolina. A nationally recognized Educational Facility Planner (REFP), he is committed to creating sustainable learning environments that support student success through fundamental design, efficiency, and flexibility.

Wilhide received his Bachelor of Science in Design and Master of Architecture from Clemson University. Dedicated to his alma mater and community, Wilhide has served on the Clemson University Architectural Foundation board and supports as a board member or volunteers his time for various organizations championing education, culture, and history in Rock Hill and Lancaster, SC.
