Karen R. Jenkins is the president and CEO of KRJ Consulting, LLC, an organizational growth and human capital consulting firm focused on transforming people, strengthening cultures, and building leadership capacity. With over 38 years of experience, including serving as a vice president at NetBank, Jenkins is a nationally recognized speaker, author, certified coach, and leadership consultant. She founded KRJ Consulting in 2008, and in 2020, the company landed at No. 546 on the Inc. 5000 list. Jenkins wrote the book “Nobody Told Me! The Path to Financial Empowerment” in 2010. She made history as the first African American woman to chair the Columbia Chamber of Commerce in its 121-year history. She also serves on the executive board of the SC Chamber of Commerce, where she chairs the Small Business Committee.
