R. Montague Laffitte

R. Montague Laffitte III is an executive vice president at South State Bank, a role he has held since 2016. His current role is the division president for the Central Region of South Carolina. This role includes oversight of the commercial banking operations for all the bank branches throughout the Midlands and the Pee Dee Region. It also includes the South State Bank branches in the Orangeburg and Lowcountry markets. He serves on the executive committee for the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce, where he recently completed his term of chairman, and on the board of directors for the Certified Development Corporation. Laffitte is a member of Executives Association of Greater Columbia and serves on the South Carolina Historical Society Board.
