Steve Cook

Steve Cook is a partner and the chief operating officer of The Foundry Group, an emerging hospitality company based in Columbia, South Carolina, with a growing footprint across the Southeast. A veteran restaurateur, Cook has owned Saluda’s Restaurant since 2006 and has also owned and operated several other restaurant concepts over the course of his career, shaping a diverse range of dining experiences throughout the region. He was inducted into the Columbia Restaurant Hall of Fame and was named South Carolina Restaurateur of the Year in 2024. Beyond his work in the industry, Cook serves on the executive board of the South Carolina Restaurant & Lodging Association and is a commissioner on the City of Columbia Planning Commission.
